CALCETINES (Socks) is a cat who has returned to live. He is looking for a home!

We can't take him in the shelter because we haven't the installations for cats. But we want to find a good family for him. He needs a fosterhome or family forever. Umergency!!!

This cat was saved from a terrible death. Some wild human had tied a tin in his tail. He was very frightened and he went into a motor of abbandoned car. But the robe got caught in the motor and the cat was without escaping during 1 whole day. Not drink, not food and the sun was very hard in this day.  He started to miaow and people who live there heard this cryings. The cat had lucky because the people was good and after 4 hours, they opened the motor and the cat went out. But the robe continued to get caught and he remained failed with his head down. People finally cut the robe and in this moment, the cat started to miaow of happiness and he didn't go away. He remained with this saviors. He ate, he drank, he had caress.  One girl washed him and from this moment, the cat was called CALCETINES.

He is a little older than 1 year but he is positiv to leukemia and inmunodeficiency. But the vet has said that sometimes the cats have false positiv. We must remake the test in some weeks.  The easier option was to put him the injection. But we weren't unable to make it. We know that it's difficult to find a family for cat in this situation but we need to try it. In the case that he will have test positiv in some weeks, maybe he won't have the illness because a lot of cats with these illness can live a long time. He hasn't syntomes.

We wan to give a lot of thanks to the people who has take Calcetines for some days in her house, to the clinic veterinary and to a lot of people that w¡th their advices are looking for a solution for him. And to the shelters that work with animals with serious illness and all good fosterhome who takes cats and dogs in bad conditions.

We have saved his life, but probably the vet will cut his tail because it isn't well. And Calcetines will be castrated too, because if he finds a good home, we want that he is ready for his new life. We need money for his operation. The shetler is full and it hasn't money for operation out of the installations. But we don't leave Calcetines to die. Please, a help for Socks.. News from Calcetines: the vet cut this tail but he bit the stump and he is again in operating room. The vet has cut another piece of his tail. He is ok but he must to be recovered in the clinic during 1 week.
